danke, das hilft schon deutlich weiter. Wegen der Garnelen - ich glaube nicht, daß Neocaridina heteropoda die Welse angeht, dafür sind die zu klein. Bei ringelhandgarnelen oder ähnlichen, deren Scheren deutlich größer sind habe ich auch diese Bedenken.
Die Bepflanzung habe ich nun auch deutlich reduziert, auf ein paar Pflanzen, die nicht so lichthunrig sind. Dann wird Holz und Stein eine entsprechend größere Rolle spielen.

nur kurz, da ich wenig Zeit habe:

CO2 ist *Gift* für Fische.

L46 brauchen viel Sauerstoff - sie kommen aus stark bewegtem Wasser.
Ich nutze sowohl Diffusor als auch zusätzlich Sprudelsteine. Doppelt bis dreifach bringt mehr Sicherheit, da eine Pumpe gelegentlich verstopft oder ganz ausfällt. Ist mir mehrfach passiert, da macht man 3 Kreuze, wenn die Tiere dank zusätzlicher Sauerstoffversorgung nicht kaputtgehen. Oxydatoren laufen mit Wasserstoffperoxyd. Wen es nicht stört, solch Chemikalien im Becken zu haben, möge damit arbeiten. Ich habe mich bislang nicht getraut.

Man kann ein Welsbecken auch sehr schön mit Gestein und Holz einrichten - Pflanzen kommen im Habitat des L46 eh' nicht vor.
Ich habe Javafarne und Cryptocoryne in den L46-Becken. Ausserdem hat sich grünes Moos angesiedelt, was auch sehr schön aussieht.

Von Zwerggarnelen kann ich nur abraten. Gerade die Arten, die sich gut vermehren, können zur Plage werden. Sie setzen sich auf die Schleimhaut der Welse, können empfindlich zwicken und stören imo auch die Welse. Das ist zumindest meine Erfahrung.
Einmal im Becken dauert es Wochen, bis Du alle Garnelen wieder rausgefangen hast (weil es zuviele sind).

scheint so, als ob die Garnelen es nicht unbedingt leichter hätten, wenn L46 im BEcken ist. Von Ancsitren wird ja behauptet, die seien gut mit Garnelen zu vergesellschaften.

also ich habe in meinem kleinen 84L Becken bis auf die Oberflächenbewegung durch die Ausströmerleiste keine zusätzliche Sauerstoffzufuhr.

Problemlos klappt dass mit den L46 !

Bei den Garnelen finden man immer wieder unterschiedliche Meinungen,
in meinem 540L Becken habe ich bisher keine Probleme beobachten können, hatte aber auf Grund des Alters der Tiere auch noch keinen L46 Nachwuchs.

In meinem kleinen 84 L Becken war eine kleine Garnele fehlerhafterweise, die war 24 Stunden später weg, ob die aus dem Becken gesprungen ist oder die L46 die verspeißt haben kann ich nicht sagen.

Im 160 L Quarantänebecken leben 4 Garnelen mit 12 L46 WF ohne dass ich bei den Garnelen Verluste zu verzeichen habe. Dieses Becken belüfte ich über einen Diffusor, anstatt der Filterausströmerleiste, da in diesem Becken keine Pflanzen sind.
