das tut mir sehr Leid für Dich und deine Welse. Ich habe einen Reiser Blockfilter, der filtert alle schädlichen Stoffe aus dem Leitungswasser, ist vielleicht ein guter Tip für die Zukunft, ich denke die 175 Euro sind bei den wertvollen Welsen gut angelegt.

Das Becken jetzt läuft 2 Monate. Mein altes wurde undicht und so kamen sie in dieses provisorische 113l Becken. Einrichtung/Wasser usw. wurde vom alten übernommen. Bis gestern alles kein Thema. Heute morgen dann waren die 4 tot. Gestern abend noch hab ich sie beobachtet wie sie im gedämmten Licht auf Futtersuche waren. Es gab ganz normal gemahlenes Diskusgranulat mit Spirulinaflocken. Da sie das aber öfters fressen...?! Keine Ahnung. Komisch ist nur, dass der 1 noch verbliebende nicht unter den Wurzeln sitzt sondern jetzt gerade unten in einer Ecke an der Glasscheibe. Die L66 haben zwar auch einen dicklichen Bauch-leben aber noch alle!

Habe ich das richtig verstanden,dass du alle 2 Wochen den Filter reinigst?
Das könnte auch die Ursache sein...
Ein Filter muß einen gewissen Bakterienstamm haben,um effektiv arbeiten zu können. Beim häufigen reinigen zerstört man den.

erstmal tut es mir sehr leid um deine Welse...das ist das schlimmste was einem Aquarianer passieren kann.

Ich kann laut deiner Beschreibung keinen Fehler ausmachen, aber zwei Fragen hätte ich noch.

Wie lange läuft das Aquarium schon (evtl. Nitritpeak)?
Wie lange hast du die Welse schon und wie hast du sie eingewöhnt?

Wasserwechsel 50% einmal wöchentlich.
Wasserwerte laut Testkoffer alle perfekt.
Temperatur 29Grad.
Alter: waren 4Monate? (4-5cm)
Bäuchlein dicker
Futter: normales abwechslungsreiches Futter wie in Foren beschrieben -nur kein Gemüse und Mückenlarven!
Aquarium: 112l -sollten nächste Woche ins Neue große einziehen, welches noch leerläuft (150x60x60)
Filterung: 2x Eheim Proffesional2 mit verschiedenen Filtermaterialien (von Filterwatte über Spezial-Torfgranulat;clinop zeolith; keramikfilterkörper; etwas torffasern; fluval clearmax; fluval zeo-carb;... werden alle 2 wochen abwechselnd gesäubert. 1 läuft mit diffuser
Besatz war: 5xL46 ; 6xL66; 20xRedfire Garnelen
Dann waren wurzeln drin und anubias etc.; Bodengrund dunkler feiner kies

Ich bin fertig mit der Welt und nur noch am heulen!
Sorry aber vielleicht könnt ihr mir helfen? Ich habe Angst, dass der letzte auch noch stirbt.

Ausserdem grauts mir davor, wenn mein Mann nach Hause kommt.
Ich habe unser ganzes Urlaubsgeld dafür ausgegeben (Welse; Becken etc.) was er gutmütig nach langem Betteln erlaubt hat und nun sind alle tot. Sorry aber ich weiß nicht mehr weiter.
